Hiking the Cohos Trail

Hi, we're Adam & Biana (and a dog named Alex). We hiked the 162 mile Cohos Trail in New Hampshire. We left on August 6th and finished on August 22nd, 2009. Follow our adventure here.

We’re leaving in 2 days! Bemis Bridge, in Hart’s Location, NH, marks the southern terminus of the Cohos Trail. Stepping on to this footbridge will mark the beginning of our two week journey. This picture was taken by Flickr user suspensionstayed who’s been documenting suspension bridges all over the US and the world. So far he’s taken pictures of over 900 suspension bridges. Bemis Bridge was number 759. Random fact: Hart’s Location, NH is the the smallest town in New Hampshire (population: 42) & first town in the United States to cast votes on election day.
